Tweedy for Council

I have had the pleasure of working with Treney Tweedy through out her campaign for City Council. The interesting thing about city council elections for Lynchburg VA is that you can vote for up to 3 people! She definitely has one of my votes!

Treney is the first African American woman to run for council in the history of the city. She is intelligent, poised and authentic. She graduated from my high school Alma Mater E.C. Glass, served in the Navy, and is a Lynchburg College Graduate. She has served on the School Board for the past few years and is dedicated to education for citizens of all ages within the city. I’m proud to call her a friend and she is definitely a person I admire and hold in high esteem.
